Our purpose-built training facilities

At our Graco-authorised service and repair centre in Cwmbran, we also offer training in our purpose-built facilities.

If you are interested in spraying, or have done some spraying before but would like a refresher, our Introduction to Spraying training session is the perfect way to get involved.

The training begins with a classroom session. During this our Graco certified engineer, Paul, will go through the following with you.

Types of machines available
Servicing and maintenance
Health and Safety
Spray tips/sizes

What To Expect

Following the classroom element, delegates will have the opportunity to get “hands on” with their choice of a Graco Airless or Graco HVLP machine in our spray booth, onto plasterboard and/or a handrail.

Your expert Graco trainer will instruct you on the following;

Priming the Graco maching
Setting the correct pressure
Tip choice
Thinning your paint
Application technique
Cleaning the Graco sprayer

During the training session, you will have the opportunity to ask Paul any questions you may have regarding spraying paints.

The training cost is £150 (plus VAT) per person, and must be paid for prior to the training day.

However, if you decide to purchase a Graco sprayer (excluding handheld machines) from Rabart within 3 months of your training date, you will get a discount of £150 (+VAT). Essentially, if you are already interested in buying a machine, this training is free of charge!

At the end of the session, delegates receive a training certificate.

We have had hundreds of happy customers use our training services in Cwmbran. But don’t take our word for it – here are just some of their testimonials;

Did you know that it is also possible to spray plaster?

Using a Graco Mark V HD Standard Series Electric Airless Sprayer , you can use Knauf Airless Finish as a highly-efficient spray-applied alternative to traditional plaster for finishing walls and ceilings.

Knauf Airless Finish is formed of a lightweight formula, making it easier to level and sand, as well as manage on-site.

It can be applied in coats of 1-1.5mm thickness, has a white finish, and it can be decorated within just 12-24 hours. (depending on ventilation and air humidity).

If you are interested in spraying Knauf Airless Finish Plaster, Knauf provides training at Rabart Spray Centre (Cwmbran).
